Wasn't a fan of the writing style and repetitive descriptions (everyone "shuffles" everywhere and sounds "chase"? Wtf? The "chasing crash" of the door slamming? Really? Ick). Some paragraphs threw me off and I had to read over them twice because of wording or grammar.Story (plot) was just alright. Nothing really new on that front. Some character potential was lost as the story developed (like she has this amazing talent and does nothing with it except help him remember a song she accidentally recorded over? Really? Bah...).From the rave reviews, I expected better...and this story didn't deliver.All in all: Meh. Not bad enough for me to request a refund but not good enough to reread or go hunting for more books from this author.
